Is it an OS thing? Do drawing tablets just work on OSX opposed to Windows? So here's what I don't get: I see people using the pen to fully work on their machines, but I can't understand how they can do it without all the frustration that comes with it. A lot of users have trouble with Windows in general. Browsing on this sub I can see that it's not just me. Sometimes things break, or basic functions stop working like the whole panning in photoshop situation. So I just use the pen to draw but for everything else I use the mouse.Īlso, there's the whole drivers issue. If I enable windows ink it's great for browsing the web because of the scrolling, but terrible to select text or move things around. It's a frustrating experience trying to use right-click or when trying to move things. The problem is that I can't use it for navigation (going around the OS, moving folders and files, browsing the web, etc) as well as when I use the mouse. I love my Wacom, I've been using it for the last 5 years to draw using photoshop and sketchbook.
